Open standards or vendor lock-in ?

Whenever we come accross an interesting article regarding open or closed source, we want to share this with our customers. This time the article comes from IT-professional (Belgium leading IT-professional magazine). The article is in Dutch. We advise to use the Google translation if needed.

Our conclusion:
Anno 2011, it is not so common to invest/trust on a closed source vendor. With open standards your company is 100% safe. This discussion is becoming more and more important and Net-Certo has dedicated some pages to this subject.
